Ron takes a piano lesson!

I haven't had a piano lesson in a long time, until last Saturday morning. And boy was it a doozie!

All my lessons with Nina Scolnik have been doozies. Ever since the very first in 1993, when she assessed all the myriad things I was doing wrong which had contributed mightily to my having to stop playing altogether. And since that doozie of a first lesson, my playing has undergone a slow and radical evolution to where it is today.

The latest? The piano is round. You shake hands with the piano. The thumb should be dead on arrival.
